Happy New Year everyone. We hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday, know let us taste some wines. As always four wines one white and three red hand selected by the staff here at the Cellar for your drinking pleasure.
First Sav Blanc 2006 By Easton This wine is not your average Sav Blanc. Notes of melon, kiwi, passion fruit, this is one of the best American Savs I have had, and it is as good as the Tangent. $19
Second Red Blend 2007 by Acacia Mostly Rhone varietals this wine shows great depth and tones of dark red fruit and loads of seductive spice. Very hard not to drink. $17
Third Grenache by Atalaya This comes from Almansa which is a sub-region in La Mancha, Spain. Notes of violet, black raspberry and white pepper, this is terrior all day baby. $20
And Last Merlot 2006 by Chateau Ste. Michelle This single vineyard Merlot comes from the Canoe Ridge Estate which is a small parcel of land the the winery owns. Plum, currant, mocha, and other delightful aromas will please the palate. $26
