Wine Tasting Saturday October 31st 3-6

Good WineWell, if you’re thinking about getting a little bit crazy on Halloween, why not start your night off right with four “killer” wines.  We will be pouring one white and three reds. The Cellar has vintages from many wine regions around the world; we like to share.  Wine is so fun and there is so much of it, we want you to try everything.

First we have the Riesling 2007 by Wurz Weinmann. This Riesling is not sweet it’s just tasty.  Notes of quince, lime, and orange blossom. Very mineral driven with just the right amount of acid. $16

Second, O’Sud  2006 by Fondreche is a great blend of Syrah and Grenache from the Cotes du Ventoux in Southern France.  Notes of raspberry and spice make this the ideal wine for pork. Come taste it and see what dish you’d like to pair with it.  $12

Third Grenache 2008 by Bitch. This is pure Grenache at its finest. Notes of kirsch, raspberry, strawberry, and cranberry.  Try this and tell me you don’t like it. I dare you! Plus, the name alone…  $15

And last, the often sought after Phantom  2006 by Bogle. A blend of Petite Sirah, Old Vine Zin, and Mourvedre this is a fruit driven wine with very nice intergration of oak.  $23

As always we try to find wines that we feel deserve to be consumed no matter the day or night.  So, Saturday before the Halloween madness, come on in and try some great wines.

Cheers!!
